Though we love a classic summer beach vacay, sometimes it’s fun to switch it up and try something new. Ambassador Amy Whitley recently ditched her sun hat for a cowboy hat and her flip-flops for boots, spending a week at the Home Ranch in Clark, Colorado.
Check out what Amy packed for a week at this remote dude ranch — her clothes had to stand up to horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking and cocktail sipping on the front porch. For more behind-the-scenes photos, check out Amy’s Instagram!
“The Ridley is a perfect example of why I love this brand. It’s travel-friendly, but looks just as at home in the outdoors, or in this case, on the ranch. I hike in it, ride in it, take it out to dinner…I treat it well!” Pictured: Ridley Top
“The guest ranch…has membership in the prestigious Relais & Chateaux hotel association and is an Orvis-endorsed fly fishing lodge, which, put simply, means you can count on gourmet cuisine and luxury service, plus expert gear and guides throughout your week-long guest stay.”
“The 4,000 acres of the ranch sit adjacent to the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest and the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness, equating to remote wilderness literally as far as the eye can see.” Pictured: Layla Top
“When here, you’re truly remote from your ‘real life’, spending your days on horseback, or on a mountain bike, or in hiking boots, or fishing mountain rivers…or all of the above.”
“Every morning, I ride horses, every afternoon I hike or bike, and every day ends with a strong cocktail followed by great companionship at a carefully crafted dinner. Living the life? At least for one week!” Pictured: Redford Jacket
